Installation will be scheduled after the design is approved. Preparation begins with the removal of old sod and leveling the lot, then covering the ground with a fiberglass landscape barrier. This is essential for supporting the gravel, and keeping it from working into the soil over the years which causes unwanted sinks in your green.
Next., ¼ minus gravel with fines are loaded on top of the landscape barrier 3” to 6” deep, then packed. We then shape the gravel with undulations and variations to suit the customers putting requirements. Standard putting cups are concreted into the desired locations, then the turf is installed using commercial staples all along the greens edge to hold it down, even when a power mower is used to cut the adjacent lawn.
